Born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay. Max began his animation trip in 2010, with a generalist course at A+ Escuela de Artes Visuales (School of Visual Arts.) After that he decided to further develop his skills, and moved to Savannah, Georgia, to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design. He graduated with a BFA in Animation in June 2017. Between these two he also took classes at Animsquad.
In the past, he has collaborated in several short films as a character animator, both 2D, and 3D. He has also worked as a freelance artist for several animation companies located in Uruguay, mainly working on commercials and local tv series.
After graduating from SCAD, Max moved to the Bay Area to work at Sledgehammer Games and contributed to the development of "Call of Duty: WWII" as an Associate Animator. He also took that opportunity to attend "The Animation Collaborative" in Emeryville, CA and learn from some of the most talented people.
From there he went to Primal Screen in Atlanta, GA where he worked on a currently undisclosed project.
he is currently working at Naughty Dog as an Interactive Cinematic Animator for "The Last of Us: Part II".
Max is also currently enrolled in the Spungella Workshop with Jean-Denis Haas, while also working on his personal projects.
He brands himself as a 3D and 2D Character Animator, yet he has a general understanding of many areas in the animation pipeline.
His dream is to be part of entertaining projects, that will influence the generations around the globe through meaningful stories and experiences.
